Bouquet No. 120: Pink Roses and Stallion

Bouquet #120 features two rose varieties. Pink peony spray roses feature double buds with a large number of petals (up to 50–60 per flower) and several buds on a single stem. Pink French roses are not a separate variety, but a processing technique in which the petals are manually turned outward, creating a flatter and wider flower with a characteristic open center. Two types of white spray chrysanthemums differ in the shape of their inflorescences: one with small, dense baskets, the other with larger, looser ones. White dianthus serve as filling between the large flowers. The shade of the roses can vary from light pink to rich. Since the flowers are fresh, slight variations in shade, bud size, and degree of opening are possible from the photo.
